The London Eye lit at night with reflections rippling on the Thames

Baseline Settings

  • Exterior dusk: f/5.6–f/8, ISO 200–400, tripod optional.
  • Inside capsule: faster shutter to avoid micro‑shake; brace against frame (not the glass).

Reflection Control

  • Press lens hood to glass; wear a dark top to reduce internal reflections.
  • Angle slightly to avoid your own reflection.

Night Geometry

  • Expose for the Eye’s lights; let the city fall into silhouette if needed.

Bottom Line

The Thames is your mirror; a still evening creates painterly lines.
